Quick answer

What is the most visited website in Saudi Arabia?

Google is the most visited website in Saudi Arabia, with 721.73 million visits in July 2026 (Semrush), followed by YouTube at 548.48 million. On organic search the ranking is completely different: Ahrefs puts Wikipedia first and the government services portal Absher sixth, which is the gap between where Saudis spend their time and where Google sends them.

TL;DR

  • • Google takes 721.73M monthly visits from Saudi Arabia and YouTube 548.48M (Semrush, July 2026). Nothing else is close.
  • • Nine of the top 20 rows are unlicensed streaming, manga-scan or adult domains. A traffic ranking is not a brand-safe media list.
  • • ChatGPT sits at #13 with 23.64M visits, ahead of Temu and Shein.
  • • The organic-search ranking is a different list: Wikipedia first, Absher sixth, and nahdionline.com tenth. A Saudi retailer does rank nationally.
  • • 34.4 million Saudis are online, 99.0% of the population (DataReportal, Digital 2026).

Search for the most visited websites in Saudi Arabia and you get an auto-generated table from an SEO tool. The figures are real and nobody interprets them. This page publishes the July 2026 top 20 with visit counts, then does the part the tool pages skip: what the ranking says about how Saudis actually use the internet, and which of it a business in Riyadh or Jeddah can use.

The core data comes from Semrush's Saudi Arabia trending-websites ranking (July 2026 data, retrieved 2 September 2026), cross-checked against Ahrefs' Saudi Arabia ranking (August 2026, organic-search metric) and DataReportal's Digital 2026: Saudi Arabia report. All three are panel and crawl estimates rather than server logs. Treat them as a reliable map, not an audit.

Source: Semrush Trending Websites, Saudi Arabia, July 2026 data, retrieved 2 September 2026. Visits are clickstream estimates of total site visits from Saudi Arabia across desktop and mobile web. We withheld the adult domain's name as an editorial choice; its row and traffic are reported as published.

Scale is the first thing to take from the table. Against 34.4 million internet users, Google's 721.73M visits work out at roughly 21 visits per Saudi internet user per month on the web alone, before counting the search box built into every Android phone. Jordan, for comparison, runs at about seven.

Nine of the top 20 are rows you cannot advertise beside

This is the finding a tool-generated list prints without comment. Three unlicensed film and drama streaming domains sit in the top ten, above TikTok and Instagram. Two manga-scan sites, an anime streaming domain, a mirror-style domain and an adult site fill more of the twenty. Together they account for nine of the rows.

For a marketer the practical consequence is simple: raw traffic rank is not a brand-safety signal, and a top-20 list is a poor shortlist for media buying until somebody filters it. It also says something real about demand. Arabic-subtitled film, drama and manga are enormous categories in the Kingdom, and the licensed services have not captured that audience.

The organic-search ranking is a different list entirely

Ahrefs publishes a Saudi ranking too, and its August 2026 order barely overlaps: Wikipedia first, then Instagram, YouTube, and Google only fourth. Neither list is wrong. They count different things.

Semrush estimates every arrival, whether somebody typed the address, tapped an app link or clicked a result. Ahrefs counts only visits that began with a search. That one difference reorders everything. Wikipedia leads the organic list and misses the total-visits top 20 completely, because almost nobody opens Wikipedia directly. The unlicensed streaming domains invert it: heavy direct and app traffic, very little search.

Before comparing any two “most visited” claims, check which metric each one uses. A site that people bookmark and a site that people search for can swap places entirely between the two methods.

What the two lists reveal about the Saudi internet

The state is a top-ten destination. Absher, the Ministry of Interior services portal, ranks sixth on organic search with 9.6M monthly visits. Saudis search for government services the way they search for anything else, which is why public-sector digital work carries the accessibility and Digital Government Authority expectations it does.

A Saudi retailer already ranks nationally. nahdionline.com, run by Al-Nahdi Medical Company, takes tenth place on organic search with 5M monthly visits. That is the row worth staring at if you sell in the Kingdom. It is the counter-example to the common claim that global platforms leave no organic room for local brands. Pharmacy retail is winnable, so other categories are too.

AI assistants are mainstream. ChatGPT takes 23.64M monthly visits, placing it thirteenth overall and ninth on organic search. It draws more Saudi traffic than Temu or Shein. A meaningful share of questions that used to go into a search box now go to an assistant that answers directly and cites the sources it chooses.

Cross-border marketplaces are inside the top 20. Temu at 18M and Shein at 17.28M outrank every Saudi commercial site on total visits. We have written about what that pressure does to local retailers in our review of Saudi e-commerce and retail brands.

The audience is already fully online. DataReportal puts Saudi internet users at 34.4 million, 99.0% of the population, with 48.7 million mobile connections and a median age of 29.6. Ad reach runs to 27.5M on YouTube, 25.3M on Snapchat, 18.2M on Instagram and 17.7M on Facebook. Their TikTok figure, 38.6 million adults, exceeds the adult population, and DataReportal flags that anomaly itself; treat platform ad-reach numbers as planning estimates rather than counts of people. The full dataset sits in our Saudi and Jordan digital statistics reference.

What this means if you sell in Saudi Arabia

Strip out the entertainment rows and the discovery surfaces that remain are search, YouTube, the social platforms and the assistants. That is the entire funnel, and it is a short list.

Search is still the front door by an order of magnitude. Twenty-one Google visits per user per month means the business ranking for its category in Riyadh gets found and the business on page four does not. Closing that gap is what SEO services in Saudi Arabia exist to do. Ranking also assumes there is something worth ranking: a site that loads quickly, reads properly in Arabic, and turns a visit into an enquiry, which is the standard behind our Saudi web design work.

The ChatGPT row deserves a decision of its own. When an assistant with 23.64M monthly Saudi visits answers a question by citing three sites, being one of those three is the new first position. Becoming the source an assistant quotes is a different discipline from classic ranking, and we have written a practical playbook for it in answer engine optimization for Saudi and Jordanian businesses.

The honest caveat: a national ranking measures attention in aggregate, and your buyers may sit somewhere much smaller than it. A B2B industrial supplier in Dammam will get more from forty qualified LinkedIn visits than from forty thousand TikTok impressions. Use this list to choose two or three surfaces, not to chase all of them. The same exercise for the neighbouring market is in most visited websites in Jordan, where the answer comes out differently.

Method and limitations

The ranked table reproduces Semrush's Saudi Arabia trending-websites data for July 2026, retrieved on 2 September 2026. Cross-checks use the Ahrefs public Saudi ranking (August 2026, organic-search metric) and DataReportal's Digital 2026: Saudi Arabia report, published November 2025 with data collected in October 2025. The two rankings cover different months, so small movements between them are not comparable. All figures are third-party clickstream, panel and crawl estimates rather than audited server logs, and gaps between adjacent rows are often inside the margin of error. This page carries no Ijjad first-party data. We check it against fresh monthly data on each update pass, and the badge at the top of the page shows the last review.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most visited website in Saudi Arabia?

Google.com, with an estimated 721.73 million visits from Saudi Arabia in July 2026 (Semrush Trending Websites). YouTube is second at 548.48 million. Those two absorb far more traffic than everything below them combined.

How many people in Saudi Arabia are online?

DataReportal’s Digital 2026: Saudi Arabia report puts internet users at 34.4 million, which is 99.0% of a population of 34.7 million, with 48.7 million mobile connections and a median age of 29.6. Saudi Arabia is effectively fully connected, so growth comes from winning attention rather than from more people coming online.

Why do Semrush and Ahrefs rank Saudi websites so differently?

They measure different things. Semrush estimates total visits from any source, so it rewards apps, bookmarks and direct traffic. Ahrefs publishes organic search traffic only, so it rewards pages that rank. Google is first on one list and fourth on the other for exactly that reason.

Do any Saudi brands appear in the rankings?

On total visits, no Saudi commercial brand reaches the top 20. On organic search the picture changes: Absher, the government services portal, ranks sixth, and nahdionline.com, operated by Al-Nahdi Medical Company, ranks tenth. A Saudi retailer can rank nationally, and one already does.

Is a top-20 traffic list a useful media plan?

Not by itself. Nine of the twenty rows are unlicensed streaming, manga-scan or adult domains that no brand should buy against. Strip those out and the usable surfaces are search, YouTube, the social platforms and the AI assistants.
